Area residents are invited to join the Wachusett Area Chamber of Commerce on a tour of the Canadian Rockies which includes train travel on the Rocky Mountaineer. The tour  runs August 26 to September 2, 2026. A travel information session will be held Tuesday, September 16 from 6:00 to 7:00 pm at The Manor Banquet Facility, 42 West Boylston Street, West Boylston. The trips are open to all area residents.

Trip highlights include Grouse Mountain, Stanley Park, Rocky Mountaineer, Lake Louise, Banff, Icelands Parkway, Athabasca Glacier and Peyto Lake. The 8-day trip includes round-trip transportation to and from Logan Airport, roundtrip airfare, hotel accommodations, 13 meals, experienced tour guides and deluxe train and bus tours.
