We did it! The Wachusett Free Press celebrates its one-year anniversary with this September issue. Thank you for making this milestone possible.

I want to extend a heartfelt thank you to our incredible team, especially to Martha Akstin, our amazing editor, and to Kim Vasseur, who has handled production, marketing, and even some sales! Kim has been instrumental in bringing this endeavor from the initial concept phase to actuality. As a local community member, she recognized the need for a quality newspaper that delivers excellent news content, sports stories, municipal coverage and so much more. We are proud to say we have done just that.

It was my pleasure to serve as a sponsor at Holden Days in August. While at the booth, I loved hearing the wonderful compliments about our writers and the phenomenal job they are doing. Big thanks to all of our writers who continue to dig deep, write stories that matter, and bring them to life for the communities we serve.
